Draw Brandon Draw: Baphomet’s Bike

What’s more metal than a Baphomet on a bike? That lovable demigod from a 12th-century Provençal poem has found itself riding a sick tarck bike when it encounters a gnarly pothole. The young hepcat who witnesses the accident quickly realizes that one should not fuck with Eliphas Lévi.

And now for something completely different. I’ve always wanted to do shit like this. Unfortunately, in NYC this would get you locked up for a decade.

Chris Piascik: All My Bikes Zine

Chris Piascik‘s All My Bikes series is one of my favorite design projects of the year. Now you can own a full-color zine filled with each and every one of Chris’ never-ending illustrations:

“Full color, 28-page zine featuring illustrations of every bike I have ever owned. Since a young age I have been completely bike crazy, because of that I’ve had lots of different bikes of all shapes and sizes. Highlights include: General Hustler, Robinson SST, Schwinn Predator, S&M Holmes, Soma Rush, Standard 125R, Milwaukee Bruiser, All-City Dropout, FBM Joint 2, Freeman Transport.

32 Bikes! Limited run of 100 copies—each signed and numbered.”

Good Wood NYC: Viking Medallion

I get fan mail from time to time. Sometimes it’s a crazy illustration, or a photo but every once and a while, something like this comes into the Norseland that blows everything else out of the water. Good Wood NYC makes wooden jewelry. From stock pieces to custom orders, their laser-cut wooden medallions have been getting quite the press coverage as of late. When I got a package from them you can imagine my excitement to find this bad-boy in the box.

Ku Jewelry: New Web Store

I posted about Ku Jewelry back in May of 2009 and since then the crew at Ku has been hustling hard to bring you cycling-themed ornament. Now it’s even easier than before to pick up some hand-made bike jewelry. Check out Ku’s new online store here and don’t forget about these guys for the 2010 holidays! I know a lot of cyclists who’d love to get their hands on (and fingers through) some of this stuff.

Aarn Works Design: Independent Fabrication IF Top

I showed you photos of the Independent Fabrication: Titanium Factory Lightweight earlier last week and made mention of the Aarn Works Design IF Top. While a small detail like a seatpost clamp might be overlooked on a bike like this, it definitely deserves its own post. Aarn Works Design is a small, intelligent design company run by Aaron in the Fringe, located in Somerville, Mass. A few months ago, Tyler from Indy Fab approached Aaron about a super-duper-awesome show bike they were working on.
