Milltag: Bespoke Frame to Match the Jersey
Another solid jersey design from Milltag. This time with a special bonus!
“This weekend sees the first Bespoke show in London’s Shorteditch with 10 custom Luma International track frames by 10 graphic graphic designers, a kind of Milltag for frames if you will. The show is notable for us as collaborator John McFaul has produced a frame to match his Madchester jersey.”

A Little Flip of a Classic Logo
This is something that I’ve been trying to dial in to my best ability for a few weeks now. The classic Eddy Merckx “EM” logo flipped to PINP, for Prolly is not Probably. I’ve wanted to do a vinyl-cut sticker or a decal and the Viking logo doesn’t quit work. There have been a few variations, one of which disengaged the “n” and deleted the “i” but in the end, I think I like this one the best. I’m not a graphic designer, but I think it came out pretty good. What do you guys think?

Chris Piascik: All My Bikes – Flings
Chris is a regular cyclist like most of us. We all had bikes that we owned at one point in time that we never really loved. He calls these four bikes his “Flings” and he was debating not including them in his All My Bikes series. Check out the reasoning behind each of these at his blog!

Viking Hold Fast FRS Contest Winners
Artwork by Jackson Armstrong
Talk about a tough decision. I think this is hands down the most successful contest I’ve ever thrown! We all saw Jackson Armstrong’s process video for his entry and everyone kept asking to see the final image. Well, here it is, in all its glory. The shear detail of this piece is mind-numbing! I can’t imaging the effort and time that went into it.
Jackson, you win 1st place which includes a set of Viking Hold Fast FRS straps, some stickers and a Viking New Era when they come in. Also included in your winning entry is a month of free exposure with a link to your portfolio site at the top of my sidebar. In addition, I’m going to try to work out a shirt deal with Jackson for this graphic! I’ll wear the hell out of it if everything goes as planned!
Read on below to see who won 2nd and 3rd.

Halfanese: Rambo on a Landshark
Here’s another bad-ass illustration by Halfanese. For this photo shoot, he met up with Rambo and Orange 20 lent him their precious Landshark. What a killer reference! I’d love to see what he would do with the Jess Versus and Her Lurker images! Check out more detailed illustrations at Halfanese.

Rodja Galli: Track Bike Martyr
Rodja Galli made a series of four paintings depicting the Urban Martyrs of modern day hep cats. This one in particular is fitting and accurate, right down to the lack of bar plugs! I kid I kid. Thanks to Fixed Gear Switzerland for the heads!

No, this isn’t a Viking Hold Fast FRS Contest entry, which is done now so stop submitting designs. It’s an update to Steve’s Viking logo tattoo. This came out awesome! Check out the full shot below.
