There’s a lot of weirdness going on over at Manual for Speed’s documentation of the US Pro Challenge in Colorado. I’m talking pro cyclists in their underwear holding podium flowers kinda weirdness. As well as bike racing. Lots of bike racing.

To bid Mr. “Shut Up Legs” adieu, Trek has created a chrome bike, helmet, shoes, and custom kit.

When it comes to men’s track racing, a handful of names come to mind and Chris Hoy is at the top of the list. I can’t imagine how stoked Shand Cycles must have been to build him this incredible Keirin-homage track frame.

In an age where everyone wants to capture everything on their iPad, iPod, iPhone and GoPro, it’s easy to see why the pro cyclists of this year’s Tour were a bit disgruntled with all the selfie and video-hungry fans. Then again, it’s pretty rad that Kevin Reza actually picked up this Contour Roam and took it for a spin!

Man, I still can’t believe David from Death Spray Custom painted bikes for each of the Cannondale team riders in this year’s Tour. What a huge undertaking that must have been, especially when you see the detail he put into just the fork (you). Keep an eye on the Death Spray Blog for more…

On July 22nd, at 8pm E.T., ESPN’s 30 for 30 takes a look at the 1986 Tour and the epic battle between Lemond and Hinault. I can’t wait for this one! See more information at ESPN.

Look, racing is fun, both as a spectator and a competitor, but sometimes, even the most PRO cyclists in the world have to give way for a little bit of ‘corndoggin’.

This just sounds like every ride I’ve ever been on. Now if we can just convince people to put more mountain pedals on their road bikes.

I’ve been following Pedal Strike’s Instagram for a while. There’s something insanely unique about doing portraits of cycling’s icon in common condiments (Lance in BBQ sauce was awesome) that makes it addicting. Her recent Tour de France series is killing it!
