A few years ago, when I started posting my bikepacking drawings on the net, I called my Instagram “Concrete Road” in reference to my favorite Japanese Anime series. From then on, I was always unsure if this name was supposed to be an alias, a moniker, or just the name of a project. It took a while to develop my story but I’ve determined my pen name will be Tony Concrete and Concrete Road will be the name of my fanzine, all about bikepacking.

Recently, Blackburn has been premiering their Roll With It film in various places around the country. To coincide with this premiere, artist Chris McNally submitted his watercolor sketchbook from the trip for us to share here on the Radavist. These are the sketches he made while on the bicycle tour through the deep, deep south. Enjoy!

I absolutely love Chris McNally‘s work. His watercolor illustrations really capture the spirit of getting out and riding your bike. Ok, ok, whatever, but he’s damn good at what he does! Check out his latest “creation”… Thanks for the heads up Pearl Velo!
